About Me

My name is Louise Higgins Scott and I have been a practicing Wiccan for the past 15 years. Amara is my wiccan name [Amara means immortal for those of you who like that sort of thing :) ] My greatest passion is writing. I have written many poems, some which have been published in various poetry books, and my poem "Black Magick" was inspired by the painting Black Magick by Jessica Galbreth and is the current winner of her annual poetry contest! You can find my poem posted on her site from October 2002 until October 2003 I am very proud of this poem Jessica's paintings inspire much of my work and I am honered that she enjoyed my work. I will be releasing my own book of poetry in 2003 and puchase information will be available through this site when publishing is complete. I will also have indivdual poems available on beautifully designed greeting cards, wallet cards and plaques! Along with writing, I also enjoy communing with the Faeries, they are magical creatures who come to vist often spreading their fun and wisdom. Pehaps you will be lucky enough to find some of the fae on your visits to these pages. I am hard at work on first novel as we speak, and will be leaving updates here as to how my work is progressing, you can look for that to be published aswell in 2003!
